Good morning
An update. I'm still making progress in healing. Will go fo r my 2 week check up tomorrow
I may be living at my sister condo for awhile. My spot in the house was taken over by her daughter. It's okay. I can't live in that kind of chaos
We looked at apartments yesterday and d the ones we like have a 2 year wait period. The third apartment was beautiful but I gave out walking down the long hallway. So we marked that one off the list..
Good morning again! Nettnett, thanks for the update. Hope you find a place to live soon. Had breakfast. Will do my home exercises in a few minutes. 😁🏫😷🚸
Nettnett Keep us updated. I hope you can find something soon.

Romans 4:21
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Jesus Christ turned water to wine, He walked on the water, and calmed the sea. He cured many diseases and cast out demons. He conquered death for His friend Lazarus and for Himself. He promises that He will be with us and that His power is ours as we try to be the people God created us to be. How, then, can we doubt that He will help us when we need to lose weight? Are not the pounds of our flesh within His scope of power? Cannot the chosen Son of God do such a small miracle in our lives as to give us the determination we need to conquer fat? This He can and will do, and much more, if we will but believe.
Today's thought: 'More' brought about my distress; help me, Lord, to live by 'less'!
It has been a terrible year except for my weight loss. My poor wife has had several surgeries, hospital stays ad rehab stays. Kept getting worse and she passed away in Hospice on August 26. Our land lady of 16 years decided she wanted to reoccupy the property and gave us until November 30th. I put an offer on a house and the closing is September 25. I have been packing and trying to decide what to do with my wife's belongings. Meanwhile I had a terrific truck accident the day before my wife's passing. At 80 years old it was amazing that I lived.
There is some good news, I reached Onederland Started Carnivore Christmas Eve and have lost 122 pounds. I have gone from 3X shirt to a medium, Frome 50 waist pants to 36 and I no longer need Wide shoes.
Colossians 3:2
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
The smells from the cafeteria were more than Blanche could take. Not that the cafeteria food was anything to write home about, but when she was on a diet, almost anything smelled good! She grabbed her jacket and headed out the door. Immediately, the fresh fall air erased the cafeteria smells. The sky was a deep blue, and the white clouds lazily drifted by. The sun was out, the birds were singing, and everything was right with the world. Blanche spent her lunch hour just strolling through God's splendor. Before she knew it, her hunger had passed, and she was ready to tackle the afternoon. The glory of God had lifted her above her earthly passions, and she was grateful.
Today's thought: There's much more to life than lunch!
Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Bud believed his doctor really did have his best interests in mind. Bud wouldn't have dieted if anyone else had told him he should, but his doctor carried a little more weight. Bud kept to the diet because he felt it was the right thing to do. Trust was a big factor in making everything work. Trust is a big factor in anything we try to do. Giants of the Christian faith were able to do such great things because they trusted that the Lord was with them. We, perhaps not giants of the faith, need to rest assured that we can trust God and that He will do everything He can to help us lose weight.
Today's thought: The only thing God will let down is my weight!
