HI CAMPERS:
I'm short on time right now, but I'll be back later to catch up.

Hope everyone had a good Mother's Day! Congrats to everyone who achieved goals this week and weight loss!

PS: Anyone having any problems posting to this thread? I'm wondering if we need to start another Fat Camp thread. I posted on a thread here around a year ago and they started a new thread every time the post count reached a certain number. I never knew if it was just a preference or a way to handle problems when the threads got too big.

Anyone have any insight?

Hello everyone! This week my goal is to get to 205. I've been hanging around 208 for a while and want to get closer to ONE-derland. (:

SPARKS:
You can hit that 10 pound mark. Maybe we all need to make doctor appts. for inspiration, lol.

100MOTHER:
You aren't alone with overshooting the calories on Sunday. Your Memorial Day weekend is a great near term motivator! Keep your eyes on the prize.

DANGEROUS:
Hope you get good blood results! I'll send some heat your way - we've had a couple of days with the temps in the 90's. I'm glad it is going to be cooler today. I seem to melt when it is hot, especially without any AC at home.

CANDACE:
I'm glad that you aren't wasting time and energy to beat yourself up. We have all gotten off track on our eating plan or had a binge. The important thing is to get back on track now.

I'm sending an extra boost to help you back on the Fat Camp Path! You can do this, Camper! I don't see success as "never slipping" I see success as being able to slip and then recover.

Good morning/afternoon all! Getting in here late this morning because I had a couple of meetings at work.

Yesterday went well, though not perfect. Had a little too much trail mix. Haha, but that is better than a candy bar or something.

TODAY'S PLAN:
Caloric Goal - 1000-1300
Breakfast: Cereal, Strawberries, Bananas, Almond Milk (230 Cals)
Snack: Dried Fruit (110 Cals)
Lunch: Sandwich, Chips, Soda (700 Cals)
Dinner: Spaghettie Squash w/Veggies and pesto (250 Cals)
Total = 1290

Exercise: Biking to work and back, total 12 miles, 600 crunches.

Snack: Apple & Coffee (150)
Lunch: Pork Tenderloin over Lettuce (200)

Default Fat Camp, I need it!!

I really need some motivation to lose weight. I have gained over 50lbs since I left Highschool and trying to eat less or better isnt cutting it. I started walking as of today to try and help with the weight loss. My goal is to lose 2lbs by Sunday so 194 to 192 and my short term goal is to lose 46 pounds by August 1st. Is this a reasonable goal? I have no idea if its reasonable or realistic at all. Im walking 45-60 minutes daily and may start doing that twice daily.

100Mother: Looks like good plans! I had a snicker bar yesterday for the same reason, I wanted it and I was under my calories.. although I actually spilt it with my boyfriend since he wanted some and I saw it as a way to get rid of some of the extra calories.

Alexxx: Welcome! I can understand the gaining weight after leaving high school. Once I became more independent I wasn't making the healthiest choices for my body and I found university very stressful so I gained 70 lbs which I am now trying to work off. I would say 46 lbs by August 1 is too much since that works out to 4 pounds a week. While you will lose more at the beginning I don't think you will be able to keep up a 4 pound a week weight loss all summer. For the 11 weeks till August first I would aim for 20-25 lbs but that's just me. Set a goal and whatever you manage to lose is moving in the right direction!

__________________________________________________

I am on track so far this week. All of my daily calories have been under my 1500 calorie goal. I have also walked my dog everyday as planned. I have been alternating the treadmill and the bike everyday and my legs are tired! I feel great being on plan, and now that I have started I don't want to stop. I have thought about skipping a work out a couple times but I don't want to wreck my streak!

I also had a great NSV. My boyfriend said I don't want you to get mad but I can tell you have lost weight. He didn't want to say why but I told him I wouldn't be mad and he said you don't have a double chin anymore. I was so happy I kept touching my chin the rest of the day lol.
