  • My husband weighs a bit more than I do, BUT, I'm under 5 feet, so I'm a lot fatter. He needs to lose weight too, and we're trying to do this together. Of course I'd like to be smaller than he is, but as Popeye said, I yam what I yam. He's been wonderful all the years we've been married, never said a word about my weight to me, loves me just the same, though I'm sure he'd like me to lose some weight.
  • my DH is 5'10 and 155 lbs. When I started my journey I weighed 71 lbs more than him!! Now I weigh 23 more. My goal is definitely to be smaller than him. When we met I was 149 lbs and he was around 185, sigh, 6 years later....
  • Quote: Yep, when we first started dating I was a bit chunky and he was very thin. Since then, I've put on/back... a lot, and he does have a lil bit of a stomach now but otherwise is very slim/average. It doesn't seem to bother him at all, but it does make me self conscious at times.

And as added fun for our upcoming wedding, my sister and his 2 sisters are our bridesmaids -- two size 2's and a size 4. Sigh.
I can totally relate for my first wedding I was a size 16 and my two brides maids measured EXACTLY THE SAME 22in waists both sizes 2s!!!!
  • Quote: My husband is 6' and up until recently I weighed more than him. We're neck and neck now. He's gained some weight and I'm losing it . I'll be very happy when I'm a skinny little thing again and he can carry me around LOL.

I remember being on the beach in Hawaii and him picking me up and running down the beach with me... when we were first dating. I want that again!
ME TOO! I've never been little enough for him to really carry me around. I want that so bad! My husband is also an amazing photographer I would actually like to enjoy having my picture taken!!!!!!!
  • This post really reminded me of one of my big goals, to be lighter than my fiance. It made me realize that I have actually achieved this! SO is probably a couple of pounds heavier than me now. *goes off to enjoy this unexpected NSV*
  • -5lbs this week...oh I'm that much closer...can't wait till i get my TICKER!!!
