Good Morning! My first post on this site, and I am so happy to have found you.
I've been in OA since 2020 with success, but have relapsed and gained half of it back.
I love the way, Diana, you are posting each day. I will follow that format to some degree.
Today I plan to get at least 10,000 steps and not binge.
oatmeal with non fat milk
tuna/egg sandwich
apple
split pea soup with sourdough bread
Have a BEAUTIFUL DAY!
Muffin My DH is on duloxetine, generic for Cymbalta and Meloxicam. He's doing OK. A friend of mine has fibro. she changed from another med to duloxetine and she's doing well. She was getting a lot of steroid shots for her neck, shoulders, back and has been able to stop them with the addition of duloxetine. Her overall pain levels from fibro has improved. I'm hoping the new meds will be helpful for you.
Steps from yesterday: 6,034
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

John 20:29
Jesus saith unto him, 'Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.'
Too many of us suffer from Missouri disease. Missourians are noted for their skepticism, and that is why Missouri is known as the 'show me' state. We look for some kind of impressive, spectacular sign. If we don't get it, then we disregard the source. God doesn't work through flashy signs and gimmicks. God works quietly and intimately, and He works His will in His own time. We may not always see the results when we want to, but relax; the Lord is at work, and we need have no fear that He will let us down.
Today's thought: The Lord is helping me, whether I can sense it or not.
Walked 20 minutes today and found new motivation in a hater at the doctor's office I think I'll stick around until I lose all this weight--or until I'm not in pain anymore LOL and watch her freak out even more
Hi Diana, I've just lost my sponsor, and emailing her at the beginning of every day was our ritual, so when I found this thread I felt like it would be a perfect fit!
I'm not sure yet if this is the correct way to respond to your question to me. I'm using the quick reply box, but I also see a post reply button above it. I'll get the hang of it soon enough I hope!
I'm happy to hear you are working the steps. They have absolutely changed my life. Even in relapse, I continue to work them and use the tools I have learned in OA. As frustrating as it is to have gained, I'm not feeling
the self-hate I have felt in the past. I'm not isolating and I'm never giving up on getting to a healthy weight! We get better together!

ThankfulBabe Do you have any in person meetings where you live? I have been doing one zoom meeting a week, on Saturday. I would like to get in more meetings but I have not had the time. I do read/check-in on some facebook meetings. It's not like a regular meeting though. If you want to checkout the facebook meetings, I can give you that information. You will need to get approval to join.

Good Morning to my new friends!
Yes, I have an in person I go to on Saturdays, and I also have a couple of zoom meetings I can go to. I LOVE being in person again, but the meeting itself has not bloomed back as strong since the pandemic.
(I also attend Al-Anon, Nicotine Anonymous and a family support group each week. For nearly 8 years I have been a recovery fiend. I was in a terrible place and Higher Power and these meetings have brought me back to life!)
I did my steps and did not binge/snack yesterday....same goal today.
oatmeal/banana
tuna/egg sandwich
apple
grilled chicken breast sandwich/lite mayo/tomato/lettuce

Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, 'Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, +Remove hence to yonder place;' and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.'
Too often we miss the point of the mustard seed. We think quantity of faith is the determining factor in getting our hearts' desires. Quantity has nothing to do with it. Jesus used the mustard seed to show that we all have at least that much faith, and if we will learn to employ it, we will see miraculous things happen in our lives. Because of Christ in our lives, nothing is impossible for us, including our diets.
Today's thought: If I can remove mountains, then I can remove pounds!
