Good Morning, Everyone!

Muffin Welcome back!

Steps from yesterday: 6,841

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

When the heavy-duty drearies set in, it is easy to question whether you believe in anything at all. Dieting is tedious, taxing, and trying. If there is a God, you may ask, why doesn't He just put us out of our misery? The Lord knows what we need, and He brings us through tough times so we might be made better for it. Just as gold is purified when subjected to intense heat, we are purified by our struggles. When we come through a situation, we are able to look back on it stronger than we were before. Trust the wisdom of the Lord, and He will reward you with faith and love.

Today's thought: I am made stronger every day that I diet!

Good evening! Spent part of the afternoon in the emergency room at my local hospital. Long story short. I’ve got arthritis in my left knee. Will be calling my primary care doctor tomorrow and the orthopedic surgeon. 😁🐰😷💐

Good morning! I went to my rheumatologist yesterday and she does believe that what I have is psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. I already knew about the fibro by PsA is new to me. Now that I look at PsA symptoms it make a lot of sense. Not the news I was expecting but oh well...

Not much on my list today, I have to make a few appointments and clean around the house a little. Oldest DS is home this week and during the weekend we need to move him back to FSU for Summer classes.

Xerai- congrats on the weight loss, keep going! giving up sweets might give you some headaches and flu like symptoms during the 1st week, stay strong and stay hydrated it will help.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Muffin On a positive at least you and your doctor knows what's going on and you can work on a treatment plan.

Steps from yesterday: 7,783

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Galatians 3:26
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Sarah loved chocolate, but when her parents found out she was seriously allergic to it, they made sure she never got any. Sometimes when they were out, she would beg for some chocolate, but her parents never wavered. They allowed her other treats, but they were able to stand firm in their denial of chocolate out of the love they had for their daughter. Our Lord watches all of us as beloved children. He wants us to have good things, but not things that are harmful to us. Over eating is indeed harmful, so we should not be surprised that God doesn't want us to do it.

Today's thought: Lord, help me avoid things that could harm me.

Good morning
We had thunderstorms last night and the tornado sirens went off about 12.30 this morning. I was up for a little while but went back to sleep
This morning I planned my breakfast which was bacon eggs toast and orange juice.
I've also cleaned one of the bathrooms and found the toilet stopped up again. My nephew says he can fix it but think I should calk a plumber for them to wwash out that pipe. We shall see.

Thank you Diana and Muffin

I did well on the chocolate abstinence yesterday and today, did not work out though and still working on bringing the calories back down to 1200--today was about 1836 calories (doing it from memory that is why I say "about" but I have been counting calories for years lol). I guess it is still better than yesterday at over 2400 calories, not sure why I keep wanting to eat so much lately. When I counted calories in the past, 1200 cal diet also, I lost 88lbs and went from a size 24 to a size 16. Looks like everyone did really well today.

Diana thanks for posting your food, it gives me ideas. I love prunes!! Do you have a daily calorie target?

Ciecie good luck at your appt on Thursday. I was in a bad car accident last year and had to see so many orthopedic surgeons I just gave up and stuck out the healing at home . There is one for everything--one for the hand one for the shoulder one for the knee one for the shin. I am much better but am still healing. I did take their advice on not walking and doing the exercises they showed me

Muffin so sorry about the news you got today It is good that you are staying on top of it. I find these medical conditions are easier to live with when we take care I have chronic back pain since 2015. I tried my best not to get diabetes all my life and was not happy to find out I have it. I was looking forward to the medical maintenance and weight loss but getting things approved by the insurance has been terrible--not only because of the doctor's office. Wishing you healthy maintenance <3

I would love to add a ticker but cannot find the controls for the signature--not sure if it is because I am new.
