It’s what I Do!

OK guys, so I’m struggling a bit with my schedule. Being in Amsterdam during the week should mean I have time for myself, to go to the gym, to prepare my food etc. But it’s not happening. I finally seemed to get it together around midweek last week - even went to the gym - [...]

A few comments about this past week

Posted by: velveteen In: Exercise| NSV| Thoughts| WW Weigh-In| clothes

First off, weigh-in, another 2lbs down! Only 5.9lbs to my mini-goal of 198. I could have said 199 to hit ONEderland, but 198 is 10%. Ive amazed myself that I CAN actually do this for more than 3 weeks at a time. 5 weeks now to be exact (on WW online).
Secondly, [...]

Sunday - 1 hour walk in the woods (registered 40 [...]

Things went a bit pear-shaped last week. Tons of stress, too little sleep, too many hours worked, too little planning. It showed on the scale too. I need to repeat to myself daily the following::
1) NOT planning doesn’t help me. Yes it’s great to sleep an additional 15 minutes in the morning, but if, at [...]

It’s my step-daughter’s birthday today! whoo hoo! She’s 10. Unbelievable!

Attempt #3,682

Posted by: velveteen In: Exercise| Tracking| accountability

The last few days I have been focusing a bit more on the few things I can do to feel better about myself.
Today I’m tracking, but I’m not focusing on points, this week I’m getting back into fruits and veggies. So here’s what I’ve prepared for myself:
B - double espresso
Sandwich with lite hellman’s and 0% [...]

Let Her Eat Cake!

Posted by: velveteen In: Exercise| General| Postive Mental Attitude| Thoughts

You know, this birthday has been totally low-key and I’m so down with that at the moment
You see, yesterday I planned exactly what I was going to eat.  I got up early this morning (no lie-in for the old chick here) and I prepared everything.  My goal points per day are 21.  My [...]

Well, Saturday, too
What an excellent day!  I’m on a roll!  20 points in total, included a lunch out, a WW recipe for dinner that I tweaked (I’m sorry, but I can not live with only one clove of garlic in a recipe), even had a few Vodka & Cassis Light which I had [...]
