A few comments about this past week

First off, weigh-in, another 2lbs down! Only 5.9lbs to my mini-goal of 198. I could have said 199 to hit ONEderland, but 198 is 10%. Ive amazed myself that I CAN actually do this for more than 3 weeks at a time. 5 weeks now to be exact (on WW online).
Secondly, it was kind of a weird week. I started off with a point deficit, from eating out last Sunday evening. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe. I was thinking about Paul McKenna’s “Eat what you want, when you want. Stop when you are full”. So I choose the French Dip with fries and surprisingly enough, because I ate “consciously” I stopped before I cleared the whole plate. I was full. I stopped. This is really a new thing for me!
I did quite a bit of exercise in the beginning, but I petered out after Thursday. So Mon - Thur I did something each day (M 20min elliptical, T 30 min walking, W 40 min elliptical, Th 45 min elliptical). On Thursday I literally got my period WHILE I was on the machine - I felt this sudden rush of pain and a wave of naseau discomfort. So Friday and Saturday I did nothing. I wanted to (my brain did) but my body did not want to. Because I know myself (all or nothing, in the past) I decided not to push it - I want to keep up my momentum.
I ended the week NOT in a deficit, but with points to spare, so ultimately it was a good week. Oh that and the 2lb loss showing on the scale
I went shopping yesterday. I desperately needed a new belt. I have 2 big girl belts, one was almost completely destroyed and the other on it’s way. The belt I bought is actually *almost* too small, I’ve got it on the first notch. My pants are loose so I need a belt. My new belt will also be an indication of any weight loss, I will soon be on the 2nd notch.
I also bought two blouses. Since it’s warming up here it’s time to stop hiding behind big oversized cardigans, sweaters, loose tops, etc. Hence actual blouses that are a bit fitted and have to be buttoned up. My DF loves blouses on me too, so he was pleasantly surprised. These tops are also size 46. Normally I am a 48. More NSV’s!
And to make it complete (well, no that would mean pants and/or skirts, but that will come) two pairs of shoes. A work pair (Hush Puppies) and a fun pair (Sneaker type - black with little skulls on them!). I am definitely looking forward to smaller sizes and wearing clothes that are more “me” than my fat alter-ego.

On top of that, I took several things out of my clothes cupboard, bagged them up and took them to Switch (goodwill here). I won’t be needing those bigass sweaters anymore. Or the shoes I haven’t worn in more than a year (two or three in some cases). Time to let go.
I’m not going back to fat. I know I said it before, but mark my words, I am NOT going back to fat. Ever again.
