Starting Fresh Again - Plan 31 March 08

Things went a bit pear-shaped last week. Tons of stress, too little sleep, too many hours worked, too little planning. It showed on the scale too. I need to repeat to myself daily the following::

1) NOT planning doesn’t help me. Yes it’s great to sleep an additional 15 minutes in the morning, but if, at the end of the day, I’ve gone completely off the rails it’s NOT worth it.

2) Eating chocolate, candy, croissants, cake, toffee, etc., doesn’t actually RELIEVE STRESS.

3) Even though I want to have a “life” when I am at home in the evenings, being overtired doesn’t actually help my stress level. So I need to go to bed on time. No TV show is worth staying up for, if it means that I will be exhausted the next day and end up not getting out of bed on time to prepare my food for the day. In fact, I can record things I WANT to watch, while actually preparing food the night before.

4) There will always be too much to do at work. It’s better to just start taking care of myself and coming to work on time and leaving on time as well.

Plan for the Day::

B/am - espresso
1 Actimel “light”
1 NF cappo
1 Banana
1 sandwich w/ 2 slices WW chicken and FF dijonnaise
Grande NF mocha (drank about 1/3)
1 Tea w/ skim milk

L/pm - spinach salad (spinach, 1 tomato, 2 very large mushrooms, 1 full HB egg, 1 HB egg white, 40 g home-made salad dressing)
carrots
apple
125gr Fage 0% Yoghurt  (did not eat)

D - approx. 170g chicken, potatoes w/ olive oil, sea salt and rosemary, veggies (lots of veggies)

I have to go to the supermarket as well - I’m out of fruit and veggies. Need to make sure I make a salad every day this week for lunch.

Also plan on going to the gym this week with a friend AND Ron said he will cook our dinner (even WW style) but I MUST go on the elliptical at home while he is cooking. He wants to support me and I appreciate that.
