Well, Saturday, too :)

 What an excellent day!  I’m on a roll!  20 points in total, included a lunch out, a WW recipe for dinner that I tweaked (I’m sorry, but I can not live with only one clove of garlic in a recipe), even had a few Vodka & Cassis Light which I had the points for!!  Normally weekends are out of control for me, but not anymore!

Went to bed quite early though.  Was exhausted.  Had about 3 hours of sleep the night before as I had to get up early to pick up R at the airport.  He was due to arrive at 07:15 but they were in the jet stream and arrived 1 hour earlier!  I think that’s a record for any international flight he’s ever been on!  To give you an idea, we live about 1 hour and 15 mintues from the airport with no traffic, so I really had to leave early.  I’m actually surprised he made it through the whole day without having to close his peepers once.

We have another WW recipe for tonights’ dinner, Japanese style beef with brown rice. Total will cost me around 7 points so I work my way backwards from that to figure out what to eat the rest of the day.  It’s not like some “new” thing, I mean it makes total sense, right, but for some reason it’s like I had a light bulb moment at the beginning of the week that planning backwards might actually work!  I’m on Day 7 and I’ve pretty much had a flawless week.

With 21 points per day at 7 days a week, weekly total should be 147. If I have 21 points today that would bring me to 146.5. I’m pretty sure that, in the history of me doing WW (since 1999), I have never had a week so perfect as this! And this is with all my fruits, veg, protein, calcium (though I was low yesterday), good fats, good grains. Really. Unbelievable, but true!!

So planning backwards, I have 14 points left for the day. Well, make that 13 because I already had some fruit (50g of blueberries, 100g strawberries) and Greek 0% yoghurt. Today will be a good day!!

Exercise today::

Went walking with my Love :) 4,390 steps, 3KM, 117 calories burned. Didn’t have my phone on me (for the time) so I’m guessing it was somewhere around 30 - 40 minutes. Earned 2 AP’s :)

Good for you — you’re almost through your first perfect week! doesn’t it feel great? If I have one, I feel like I’ve just invented a cure for cancer or something.
