OK, starting over again:: Thursday 3 May 2007

Posted by: velveteen In: Emotional Eating| Tracking

Yesterday was just an off day.

We didn’t go swimming.

We had pizza for dinner.

I didn’t eat my salad.

I ate some junk.

Positive thing:  I passed on the chocolate because it wasn’t exactly the kind I prefer.  My colleague brought in 6 LARGE bars of Cote D’or BonBon Bloc.  My department is dangerous. (Yesterday on the table: Nuts, chips, chocolate and not just a FEW items, enough for a party)

Starting over again today:
B - espresso
AdeZ soy milk fruit drink 1½
Detox Juice
Apple

S - NF cappuccino 1
Sandwich from the shop: Roastbeef and Baba ganoesch 130g
cal: 283 / fat: 8g per 100g

L - 3 Wasa crackers 1½, 50g tahina 2

Salad with crab from yesterday with dressing 2½

S - Fage yoghurt 100g 1, blueberries
NF cappuccino 1

Java Chip Frappuccino, double shot, no whip: 190 cals / 5g fat

D - not sure, out with S this evening (we are going to the movies if we can make it on time)

I know why it went off-plan yesterday: I was bored. The last couple of days I’ve just been filing, scanning invoices and emailing to my colleagues for approvals. The non-hungry eating was pure boredom that stretched out into the evening. We didn’t go swimming because R still doesn’t feel that great. He had blood taken yesterday and gets the results Friday. So we are waiting for the results and for him to know that he’s OK and it’s OK to go swimming.

That’s it ~ was tempted to go on the scale, but It’s not what I do :) so I will get through each day until next wednesday to find out if any change has been made. Especially after eating pizza… why would I want to set myself up like that????

Total planned:  10½

Sticking to plan today, gives me a bit of freedom tonight!

Yuck, boredom eating. :) That’s one of my triggers, it can be so annoying. But anyway, getting back on track today is indeed probably the best thing to do.

I have a bad problem with boredom eating as well. Hey, atleast you passed on the goodies at work. I passed on a chocolate bar at the store last night, but it was an internal fight with myself. I knew if I got it and ate it, I would feel bad afterward, but when I didn’t get it, I felt bad because I was denying myself. It’s insane…..
