Lunch: 2 Bananas and a yogurt -360 calories
Snack: 1 large peach 50 calories
1 banana: 100 calories (I know too many bananas)
Coffee w/non dairy creamer: 50
Dinner:
1 Tomato, lettuce, onions, celery, garbanzo beans, Fat free dressing: 250 calories
Dessert: Banana and Canteloupe: 180
Grand Total: 1360 (too many bananas)
This is my first day on my new diet. Well that’s not really accurate because I have been on a diet since I was 10 (38 years!). I was never really overweight until I turned about 35 but I always thought I was fat. I regret all those early diets because now I am really overweight and the previous diets make my matabolism freakishly slow. So, I just weighed and I weigh 188!!! I had not weighed in 6 months and I thought I was closer to 179. My clothes still fit so I though I had not gained any more. Well now I know!!!!! Here’s the hard part. I know what to eat. I am already a vegitarian. I have been for 21 years. And yes, you can be a vegitarian and be 40lbs overweight! That’s a myth. You see, my problem is carbs… bagels and sugar. So, what I am left with is only eating fruits and vegtables with a little bit of soy. I know that low carb works for me. I would be very thin if I ate meat. But, I just can’t bring myself to do it. I am a veggie because I LOVE animals. I even love cows and pigs. So, eating them is no different tha eating a dog or cat to me. So, I have to work around it.
