Twenty-Eight Week Weigh-in: GOAL!
I was actually right at 140 yesterday, but as Mondays are my “official weekly weigh days” I waited to see what I would be at this morning: 139.6! Yippee!
I went out and ran 9 miles in a total euphoria to celebrate and I felt great, great, great!
Yaaay! Ohmigod, this is amazing. You have so much to be proud of!
I hope there are celebrations in the works (minus the usual unhealthy celebration food, lol). If I had a shiny gold medal, I’d be airmailing it to you.
As it is, please accept this not-technically-existent shiny gold medal for having the class and the brass to accomplish your goal. ;D
Wooooo hoooooo! Love it that you celebrated with a run.
And those pussycats made me laugh.
AWESOME!!! And even better that you celebrated with a run instead of… ice cream or something like that.
Awesome! Congrats all over the place and {{{{many hugs}}}}
Now tell me, when is the first marathon happening?
Many many congratulations!! You truly are my inspiration!
Great job… but I have to say, running 9 miles? Not my idea of a celebration. Eating a ding dong, that’s a celebration.
I’m with tiny2b on this one, cause apparently she has ding dongs & she might be willing to share.
Happy goal day (post-post-goal day?)!
Hm, I’m gonna go with Jo’s method of celebration for the WIN! Congratulations! Enjoy the rewards of all your hard work!
So so so so happy for you! Seeing you achieve your goal makes me feel it’s achievable for me too. I have read so many articles and amazing stories about people losing weight and getting healthy but not knowing them kind of makes a difference. But talking with you for so many months now and you sharing your experiences with us makes it more tangible for me. I don’t know if I’m making sense
but somehow it doesn’t seem unreachable for me (most days that is
) even though it is going to take a while. Of course, I have my drama days and I know I’ll slip some days :). I just hope I remain focused and consistent (like you did) throughout my journey. Thank you for sharing this experience and being a wonderful support & friend
Have you thought about what you want your new goal to be? Or you’re just going to see how much more you lose?
Oh, my. 139 and a 9 mile run. Now I’m officially jealous. Okay, no I’m not. But I sure am happy for you. Wow! What a way to live a life!
Yeah, Jo!!!!!
Time to update your pics - you can now do a real before and after!!
