Trying to get the feeling again…

About Me

My name is Bobbie.  I started this blog in June of 2007 with the intention of being at 199 by October of 2007.  LOL!  It didn’t happen.  In October I was still the same exact weight as I was in June.  BUT the good thing that happened is that I found a wonderful and supportive group of women on 3fatchicks and on December 12, 2007 started Weight Watchers (WW) with my BF, daughter, and her husband.  I know that without the support of my friends on 3fc I could not be as successful as I have been on WW.  Sure, it helps to have the family on board but with my 3fc friends, I can be honest and they support me and love me anyway.  Best of all, they understand what it is like to struggle and give the encouragement and the honesty that is needed to continue this journey.

 The boring stuff:  I am 42, have a grown daughter (yes I had her very young) and have a granddaughter.  I am divorced and that was expensive but worth it in the long run.  I have a BF and we cohabitate.  I recently quit my job of 19 years to finish my student teaching so I can teach becasuse the thought of doing my other job for another 19 years made me ill. 

I have a lot of friends.  I have had the same friends for 20-30 years.   

I am tired….
