October Goals

October 1st, 2008

1.  FOOD PLAN.  Get back on the diet bandwagon, hard core.  I’ve been diet dabbling lately, having a little this/a little that whenever the mood strikes me.  NO MORE, I say, NO MORE.  Especially with the Halloween candy afoot.  

2.  FRESH FOOD.  Have a minimum of one fresh fruit or veggie every day.  

3.  RUNNING.  Stick to my 10k training plan.

4.  EXERCISE.  I need to do more than just run.  Running is burning calories, but it’s not reducing flab.  In honor of Big Prof’s boot camp experience, I am going to incorporate some old skool exercises into my daily routine.  Starting today, 20 each — pushups (girly ones), sit ups (not crunches), squats (full on).  Add one every day so I’ll be doing 50 by the end of the month.

    I like your goals! Mine are pretty similar except 5k! haha!!
    I need to get my food back in check as well and REALLY need to exhibit self control. this is getting nuts, i was doing so well, i’ve got to get back in it.

    Oh! This sounds like something I need to do. Thanks! I was waiting for your inspiration to strike so I could follow your lead & there it is, right on time.

    So now I’m going to do off-boot-camp days push ups, sit ups, and squats! That’ll get me in shape for boot camp hell!
