Canning

I have a question about canning on my other blog if anyone cans, or cares, or cares to can, or cares to respond.  This entire post is a link.  How lazy is that?

    Couldn’t reply over there, but it sounds like your jelly is shelf-ready! If you have pressed on the top of the jar and there is no “give”, then it is sealed. Sometimes you can hear the popping sound as each one seals, but not always.

    run your finger over the top of the lid, and feel if it is depressed. it shouldn’t pop up and down. if it’s depressed, you’re good to go! you still have one last step though. and that’s to mail a jar to me. :P
