So, I weighed myself before my workout this week and the scale said 271#……..that’s down 9# from last week.  Yeah!  I’m sure most of it is water weight but I’m glad anyway….gives me hope that I may be able to lose some of this.

So, today was arm day………..I hate arm day!  Walked 0.75miles did all the arm machines with 2 minutes at treadmill in between…….for a total of about 1.75 miles.

I think next week I’m actually going to write down exactly how much I’m walking.

Well, today was #3 of 3 days in a row……I’m amazed I’m still alive!

Got new shoes yesterday and they’ll definately need some time to break in.  My right foot no longer hurts as much but now my left foot is hurting………  I think I’m going to get some insoles for additional arch-support.

So, walked 0.5miles today and then did the leg machines with 2 minutes in between at the treadmill.  All together walked about 1.25miles.

I think I’m going to take a break tomorrow and try and get back on my regular routine!

Wooh……tired today!

Walked 0.75miles and then did my arm machines (2×30reps) with 2 minutes at the treadmill in between.  Continued with the increased speed of 3.4 at my “in-between” times.   In 2 weeks I hope to up my regular walking speed from 3.2 to 3.4.

Met my goal to workout 4 times this week!  Yeah me!.

Next week’s goals will be:

1.  Continue with 4 workouts a week

2.  Keep a food journal so next week I can start counting calories.

Missed my workout on Friday this week due to some family obligations but I’ll work out both today and Sunday to get my 4 days in this week.

Today I walked 0.75miles and then did all the leg machines (2×30reps) with 2 minutes at the treadmill in between.  Up the speed at my “in-between” times to 3.4 so now I’m walking 0.11miles between machines.

Did some stretching at the end as well.

Wow, today was my 1st morning workout and I like it alot better!

Walked 1 mile on the treadmill and did all the arm machines (2×30reps) with my regular 2 minutes at the treadmill in between.

Worked out for 65minutes and had enough time to get home shower and get to work on time!

Weighed myself after my workout and 3/4 of a bottle of water and the weight was 280#.  This is going to be my regular weigh-in time and routine so hopefully I’ll start to see some change.

This should have been posted last night but I was way too tired.

Went to the gym after work.  Did 1 mile on the treadmill……little slower than normal, for some reason my legs were sore yesterday.  Also, was missing my socks……dumb me.

Anyway in addition to the 1mile of walking I did all the leg machines (2×30 reps) with 2 minutes of treadmill in between each machine.

I’m planning on going again on Wednesday am.

I’m thinking of doing a 1 mile Walking off the Pounds DVD on my off days.  Has anyone used that program?

Less intense workout today.

Walked a mile and then did arm machines with 2 minutes of cardio in between machines.  Determined I can walk 0.10 miles in 2 minutes.

I go back to work next week so my workout time will change to mornings.  I’m hoping I can get in enough of a workout in the limited about of time that I have.  If I don’t I’ll have to go a couple of evenings a week too.

I’m starting to feel the adreneline rush that people talk about!

So, went to the gym today and my starting weight was 281#.  Omg…..

Anyway, did 0.72miles while I wanted for my gym buddy.  Our plan is to do a warm-up and then do 2-reps on a machine and then do 2 minutes on the treadmill and then back to the machine.  We do each machine 3 times before moving to the next one.

Overall today I did all the leg machines and a back extension, walked over 2 miles and then did some stretching at the end.

I’m feeling good about my workout.

The Journey Begins

So….it’s been about a week since I purchased my gym membership and I’m gone a few time already.  I’m quite enjoying it.  But, I need to start taking this seriously and start a plan.

So, starting today I will start to track my excercise and weight.  Eventually I will begin to track my eating as well.  Baby steps!

So, when I go to the gym in a little over 20minutes I’ll be sure to weight myself!
