Moved in!

Soo.. I moved into the suite on Sunday~

It’s great, it’s beautiful actually, everything is very new.. we have more than enough room in here!
My roommate is great, she’s serious about school and she goes to bed early.. She’s also not a partier and doesn’t go to frats so I won’t be the only one! She’s basically the opposite of my roommates last year lol
so I’m happy about that…

I had my first day of classes today… still struggling to get into school mode! I’m pretty bored though, it’s quiet..
MAN, if I wasn’t on my diet right now I’d be munching! It’s amazing how many times I felt like eating out of pure boredom.. no cravings, just felt like munching for the sake of it!
I did well on my diet but yesterday I went back home to pick up a few things, and it’s the first day of Ramadan so my mom wanted me to join her when she broke fast… so I did eat, didn’t feel too great, but it didn’t make me feel weaker.. I’m back on my diet today anyway and doing fine.
I just need to go to Shoprite tomorrow and pick up some sugar-less candy, and definitely seltzer-water.. it’ll help me resist urges. My roommate knows I’m dieting and she’s not the type to question what I’m doing or anything so she doesn’t beg me to go eat with her or something like that.

I’m pretty happy here, I’m just.. EXTREMELY excited to go see Myles not this weekend but next weekend! It’s been 4 months! I miss him sooo much, so I’m excited lol.
Schoolwork is.. well what it is. I’m waiting on my textbooks… I ordered them online so hopefully I’ll be getting them either end of this week or next Monday.

I’ll update more later..
I SHOULD workout, but I’m kinda tired.. so I think I’ll take it easy this week…

Ramadan Mubarak!!! its my first time doing Ramadan while dieting and exercising, it should be interesting. hope the fasting goes well for you!

Hi,
My friend at the bank told me about the beads diet today. His wife is doing it and has lost 19 pounds in about two weeks. I figured I would research it online and I came across your blog. Can you give me a rough idea as to how much it cost you when you went to the clinic and how much it costs online? I guess I would have to wait till after Ramadhan, but after reading your blog I can’t wait to start. I am so sick of being over weight. I am 10 years older than you but am the same weight as when you started the diet. I would love any advice you can give.

it depends on where you go.. if you do it through the doctor it’s about $50 a week and transition is free.. it’s a bit expensive but if I could afford it I would do it through the doctor b/c you stay on track more and he gives you good advice.. so what I’m doing right now is based on my time with him.
Online i bought the beads for about $15, but again, I knew the points behind my ears only b/c I did it through him and could remember the placement points~

Hi again,
Thank you for your post. I will let you know as soon as I start doing the diet. I think I will be going to their office in South Orange. How do you handle the diet with Ramadhan though? I mean by the time we break the fast it is already way after 6 o’clock….
Another thing….I am gifting this diet to my sis and mom too and once we have done it for a while, I’d like to be able to get the beads online because $50/week/person may end up being too much and the three of us really need to lose weight. Would you be able to turn me in the right direction when the time comes please?

woow sorry for the late reply! I didn’t see this comment..
I actually don’t fast.. but they had a protocol up on accuweight.com for what to do during ramadan.. again sorry for the late reply.
I’ll send you to the site i bought the beads from, but stay with the doc for at least a couple weeks to get the hang of the diet and know what you points are.
