- Kraft Mayo made with olive oil has half a gram less fat and about 20mg less sodium than my previous favorite, Hellman’s Light. Since I am watching sodium first fat second, I will be buying the olive oil stuff from now on. I just can’t stomach the fat free.
- There were Pinch of Salt chips by Frito Lay, but they disappeared from stores quite quickly. I think I’m going to ask the store manager what is going on. They were good! How nice was that to enjoy chips & salsa again?
- I want to know how much sodium is in ramen if you don’t use the packet that comes with it, wonder where I would find such info.
- Kellogg’s makes Blueberry Muffin frosted mini wheats. I think I love you, Kelloggs. *sheds a tear*
- Eggland’s Best + oatmeal 3x a week reduced my cholesterol considerably. Raisins or Craisins + cinnamon are wonderful in oatmeal. I am slowly weaning myself from the instant to the steel cut.
- I have heard from a source recently that artificial sweeteners are not good for my kidneys. I’m not sure which one, but am going to get more info soon. It sucks though b/c I love love LOVE Cherry Coke Zero. It tastes WAY better than Diet Cherry Coke. I’ve no idea why. The ingredients are almost the same.
- I’m back in my skinny (size 22) jeans. I’m going grocery shopping like this.
