Non Scale Victory
I went to the gas station today & didn’t buy anything to eat or drink. It’s been my dirty little secret for the last few months. Hot Cheetos with Limon are awesome. But they don’t agree with my stomach. I don’t need a treat every time I go somewhere. ESPECIALLY at the gas station. On the one hand, if I am having a craving, it would be nice to get a one serving size & be done with it. On the other hand, no one sells the one serving size snacks at the gas station anymore.
I remember being a teenager when they came out with the Big Grab sizes of the Fritos, Cheetos, etc. Back then they made a big stink that people would think the whole bag was a serving size. And now almost 20 years later, we are all how much fatter? And all the magazines & weight loss advice say to check out the serving sizes on everything. Ugh. Disgusted with myself right now.
But also a little proud. It’s a small victory, but it’s mine. Just because I’m at the gas station doesn’t mean I deserve 2 kinds of chips & a soda. That’s insane! And I’m glad I finally realized it.
