Biggest Loser auditions

Save your time. JacobsMommy had warned me that they will ask for a videotape & sure enough, after 4 hours in line, they got us in a little room, asked us a little bit about ourselves and informed us that we would need to send a videotape & mail it out on Monday because the deadline for videotapes was Friday. 5 whole minutes. Whoopee!

WTF? Why even HAVE auditions if all you are going to do is ask for a videotape? Grrrr. So I will make one today, if not then tomorrow.

And what did I do right after the audition? Drove straight to my grandparents’ apt for homemade ravioli & meatballs. haha. It was all I ate that morning. I was going to grab a few Luna bars & stick them in my backpack, but I forgot & was sorry. I was starving by the time I got to my grandparents’ apt.

Then for my dad’s birthday we made homemade pizzas. And when I say we I mean my dad, brother & brother in law. My brother in law is a chef, and when I told my sister I tried out for the Biggest Loser yesterday, she told me he is going to try out for Hell’s Kitchen. That would be awesome as he is a great chef. Everything he makes is awesome.

I got to see my niece, she is getting so big!! :)

In other news, I cannot buy Pringles in any way shape or form. I cannot be trusted with them. I think it’s why I don’t keep snack foods in the house–because I can’t be trusted around them. They were gone in 5 days. They were the little mini packs, and they were expensive. It was nice to space the servings out, because if I buy a can you know I’m going to eat a can. But for something that has little to no nutritional value, it’s not work my buck, nutritionally or otherwise.

Other than that, my sister’s birthday is Thursday & she is having a Totally Gnarly 80’s costume party on Friday night. I have to find something to wear. I saw a perfect pair of shoes awhile back, but to wear them for one night only seemed not worth it. So we’ll see. Hope everyone else is having a great weekend.

    I’m a sucker for crackers and the like. I cannot be trusted with anything that is flavoured and crunches when I bite it.
