Your doc's appointment makes me wince. Probably because I need to get my pap and stuff done. *shudder*

Clothes shopping can be a definite pain!

And don't think it stops with finding things for your daughter instead of you! I went through that phase, and now it's my daughter, her daughter, my other daughter(s), my other granddaughter, my two grandsons....auuurrrgh! I have to say that I really do well from the end of January right up to about now for bargains, though. I SHOULD do my Christmas shopping now, but never do. I'm worse than the kids when it comes to pulling out new stuff. If it's new, I want to wear it (or see them wearing it). Also, one thing being old as dirt (me) has going for it is that your kids are finally old enough to appreciate your taste in clothes and furnishings. I remember well the teen and young adult years when anything I liked was "awful". The feelins, of course, were mutual. I thought their choices were awful, too. Anyway, I'm delighted to see you feeling better...think spring! (I would, but we have a snow storm coming again tonight. This is just getting TOO ridiculous if you ask me - which obviously, nobody's doing. Nobody who has any influence over the weather, anyway. Have a great weekend!

Great to read that you're feeling better. I know what you mean about it being a miracle that your daughter liked something 1) YOU found and 2) was marked down! That really is a miracle, judging by my own experiences. Me and the girls haven't been on the same wavelength since their leggings were adorned with teddy bears.
Also, terrific about your cholesterol number being within the normal range. I think you are doing beautifully.

I am go glad to see that your spirits have lifted. I don't try shopping for anything right now unless I HAVE to have it. I still don't like the way things look. The only things I will buy are purses and shoes.

I too would be thrilled with the cholesterol results. Doctors - they are too serious some times!

Give yourself credit for the weight you have lost. You have done a fabulous job! Kudos to you!
