Congrats on the weight loss :)
I am with mizu on the horse. I grew up on horse back. Used to barrel race as a kid and we did snaffle bit as adults. A green rider and a green horse can be dangerous if the horse does not know who is boss.
Good luck and have fun

I had horses since I was thirteen. If I was on a green horse that refused to move, I'd use a crop and gently smack them on the rump. That usually does it. If not, basic spurs are also good. The problem with this is that you need an experienced rider, because a green horse is a dangerous thing. Some horses go off bucking with the first touch of a spur to their flank - same with the crop. It's a necessity, but you need to be ready for the horse to go bronco on you. If leading the horse a few steps before letting them go doesn't make them keep moving, the rider needs to show the horse who is the boss. By being led around the ring, the horse is being the boss. She won't move if she doesn't believe the rider is in charge. Good luck to you on your horse training!

Good job on the loss. I agree with Ella, often eating more and then less works.

Surprised about the horse. Did you figure what happened later? I am curious :) I know nothing about horses and am quite scared of them too.

love,

Good job on the 1/2 pound - it does take time to lose, but you're doing well. The eating looks great!

Actually, I think our bodies adjust to certain patterns of eating and regulate themselves to maintain, whatever our level of intake. It's good, I think, to "jog" them from time to time...eat a little more, and then drop down again, and it always seems to result in a loss. Hah! Dropping half your food on the floor! Now, THERE'S an innovative weight loss strategy if I ever heard one! Enjoy your session at the barn....and stay warm! Snowing, here...pretty, fluffy flakes that are making everything outside look like a postcard. That's until you go out and start trying to drive someplace in it. Harrumph!
Hugs,
