Been trying to get caught up a little on others blogs. With mid-terms coming next week, the computer is in pretty much constant use when we are home by A. and to be honest, I’ve just been lazy—about blogging, not that I ‘ve misbehaved food-wise, other than occ. foray into a good piece (or two) of chocolate. When I was making goals I forgot to say that I would try to be more consistant taking my vitamins which I have accomplished so far.
Food has been good w/o going into each and every day. I’m happy to be able to say I’ve kept my walking goal of 2mi. a day during the week. I get large print library books so I can read on the tm.; today was 3mi. on the dot cause I finished up the book. One by Rita Mae Brown; she writes mysteries with the star’s animals having personalities and helping out, very light easy reads; and she lives here in Va.
I’ve been without a loss on the scale since I got on the scale early in the month until today—down 1/2 lb.!!! I’ll take it. One bright spot!!!!
Food today: oatmeal w/ skim. V8, decaf tea w/ skim………….later: 1/2 deli chicken sandwich w/ whole wheat bread, bean salad………….Main meal: salad of tomatoes and cucumber w/balsamic vinegar dsg. and homemade mushroom soup (turned out great-w/paprika, lemon, dill, fresh ground pepper, dash of soy)…………..lite dinner: hard boiled egg, blueberry yogurt w/extra blueberries. Also had a few walnuts during the day.
It’s cold( but not as much as it has been today), windy, and rainy—I know we need it but gray days combined with short days don’t do much for me and my SAD. We all know the only cure is sunshine. I’ve been freezing all day no matter how high I put the thermostat.

Congrats on the loss of 1/2 a pound, you are doing wonderful! It’s sunny almost everyday where I am at, but that’s California for you. Your diet looks just great, I hope you stick with it. Stay strong and think of sunshine! =)

Congrats on the 1/2 pounds weight loss! I hate rainy, gloomy days. Just puts everyone in a bad mood.

Me too…we have snow here in SC!!! It was in the 60’s last week and snow today…go figure!!

Congrats on the loss. Sun? IS that the big yellow ball in the sky I so faintly recall?? Rumour has it we may have a sighting here today in Toronto! Of course it is well below freezing so we need some hope, don’t we?!
