Oct. goal

I Will lose 5 of these miserable pounds by the end of this month!!  I can’t believe I’m up 7.  I did not get weighed today, if it’s any worse, I don’t want to know.  Some changes need to be made (AND stuck to); an extra silice of pizza here, 1 visit to Coldstone, even the Skinny Cows (sob, sob) are adding up………I really can look back and not think I’m eating that badly but something is amiss somewhere……

I went to gym this am: 6:40 to 9:40  but to clarify, this isn’t even near 3 solid hrs. of exercise….here’s the breakdown: 6:40–7:00  warm up stretches and exercises         7:00–7:45  weight machines, usually lose a couple min. waiting for a machine to be open        7:45–8:30  treadmill       8:30–8:45  rower      then br. and short drive to lite aerobics  9:00–9:40…….see, I’m not really going at it for 3 solid hrs.

Bfsk: grapenuts w/skim, V8 juice, decaf tea      snack: 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese, 3/4 of a large bosc pear, thin slice of banana bread w/walnuts      lunch will be a mixed greens salad and tomatos w/ ff dsg., chicken, mushroom, and garlic soup

Thinking about adding some exercise on my non gym days; right now all I do is walk the dog and that’s only about 1/2 mile usually

I feel good today…..onward, chickadees…..

I’m really impressed with your exercise, too, even if it isn’t a solid 3 hours. How’s your water intake? At WW they told me that sometimes if you get stuck, up the water a little bit. Take care - RubyJean

Wow. that’s a lot of exercise!! Hang in there on the weight loss. It’ll come. You might want to up your calories a bit if you’re working out a lot though. I’ve found that eating less + a lot of exercise = no loss/gain.

Bodies are so illogical. I’ve tried arguing with mine but it refuses to listen to reason. :D

You and me are going to get through this month together! I’ve gained back 2 pounds, September was a strange and crazy month but ready to get back to business. I’m giving you back a heaping teaspoon of that renewed staunch determinationyou shared … I know we can beath these old habits :)

Even if it’s not three solid hours, it’s still very impressive! Isn’t it awful how things start to unravel like that as far as food is concerned. And the snack diet foods (like skinny cow) always add up for me in the long run. I could sit and eat the whole box of 100 cal packs while watching TV.
