I was at my in laws house and saw TONS of hummers on their feeders. I guess we got all of yours! :)

Go ahead and get the CPAP machine. I know it's a pain, but your prolly won't need it forever and if it makes you feel better, it's worth it.

I hear ya on the change in seasons and schedules thing. I don't have sleep apnea, but significant changes I am sure effects that a lot. I agree with your comment about telling kids "you can do whatever you want." I see A LOT of entitled kids and it's because people tell them how wonderful they are all the time. I am a HUGE believer in boosting self esteem, when it is deserved, and also when they are feeling down. However, scribbling down some shit then patting them on the head and saying "you're the best" doesn't fly with me, and sounds like not with you either. I hope that other people begin to see this more, maybe we will see things start to change....

That reminds me of the time my best friend and my little brother talked me into getting on my pony bareback. They were going to lead him with a rope. I got on and they smacked his rear and off to the barn I went, up a huge hill, no saddle, no bridle, no halter. It's amazing I survived my childhood.
