I think you just must have needed to rest and your body was trying to tell you! Did you feel any better after that nap? Sometimes I get like that too. I often feel even more tired after the nap, which is weird, but I've discovered that the resting does eventually kick in. I'm also so impressed that you and your daughter volunteer with the therapy horses. What a marvellous idea that seems to be! I mean the therapy with the horses but of course also the volunteering. Take care, and be as kind to yourself as you are to others. Are you taking vitamins? ellabella's story about the boy who was turned around is also wonderful....RubyJean

Oh, yeppers.....SAD, that's what it is! Seasonal Affective Disorder...that's what people get who are sun deprived! I'm the same way! If there are too many gray days, I'm just soooo miserable! Working with the TRP is impressive (on top of all the other things you manage to do!) and it's really wonderful for emotionally disturbed kids...gives them the opportunity to interact with a living creature in some pretty basic ways, minus all the games and stuff. A program that I did some work with had a lot of kids from urban backgrounds who had never seen - or imagined seeing - a horse in the flesh, so to speak, and there were some interesting times, I must say. One tough little guy...guess he was @ 14 or so, but small & wiry and swaggering...got up on our gentlest and most docile old girl and she wouldn't move...he sits up there for a few minutes, and then yells, "Whose got the KEY to get this one started???" He ended up being one of our best riders, and always willing to help out in the stables. That program really turned him around. I'm a HUGE fan of TRPs, and I think it's awesome that you and your daughter volunteer at one! You are a woman of depth. my friend....Hugs,
