no sun
Once again, I didn’t get back here yesterday…eating was OK….dau. seemed to be doing very well, applesauce, puddings, jello, baby food, mashed potatos, even a bit of chicken…this am her face was more swollen than it had been with more pain since yesterday–she’s had a Motrin 800mg. and a Vicodin today and is napping now, I made her take a shower earlier and she’s had a saline mouth rinse and heat to cheeks….BUT temp this am was 100.8–came down but this I don’t like, will force fluids and watch…..
It’s dreary, not raining, just dreary….I’m used to being on the go, this is different; I suppose there’s tons of stuff around here I should be doing…..but…..
bfsk…..grape nuts flakes w/skim, 1 kiwi, decaf tea w/skim, v8 juice
snack….1/2 multigrain Wasa w/ 1 1/2 t. peanut butter
lunch…1/2 can double noodle soup, 1 skinny cow fudge bar, 6 almonds
Someone blogged about a product called Fibersure, used to insure a good fiber intake…I got some, put it in my tea and chicken noodle, no taste…a good idea….I’m big on fiber, my dad had colon cancer; had my first colonoscopy @ 40 (early, cause of the history)….they found 3 precancerous polyps at that time and you better believe I’m in there on time when due for that study now……the prep really is the worst part of it……………

So THERE you are, Soclose! I’ve been looking for your blog, and this is the first time I managed to figure out which one was yours!
Sending good (and healing) vibes for your daughter…
As far as adding fiber is concerned, are you familiar with Fiber One cereal? ONE CUP is 120 calories and 28 grams of fiber. For my breakfasts, I make myself a “bag-o-fiber” with a cup of Fiber One, 1/4 cup raisins, one little pouch of “Granola Bites” and six (count ‘em - exactly 6) pieces of dried pineapple. It keeps me filled until lunch, and usually takes me more than an hour to eat with my (black) coffee here at my desk at work. Maybe you’d enjoy something like it, and it would help you add a significant amount of fiber to your diet.
Thanks for your comments on MY blog - I’m always delighted to see one from you!

I hope your daughter feels better soon!
I had a colonoscopy this summer and the prep was awful!!! The actual procedure was a piece of cake! I think it is worth all the trouble.
Thanks for the comment on my blog!
