6/1/08 - 6/14/08 = 41% of goal met. 172 of 420 mins exercised. 0 lbs lost (may have gained back).
Not off to a great start this two week period, but will get on track starting ASAP!
Day 15, Sunday, 6/1/08: None. Went to church, took the kids to the lake, watched Rambo with John, cleaned house and such. Figured I could take this one day off, and still go strong this two weeks by making up for it later.
Day 16, Monday, 6/2/08: None. Had a late night Sunday night, watching the new National Treasure movie with John, so didn’t get up early to walk. Planned to walk or workout tonight at 8pm, but John ended up working late so I didn’t want to leave him dealing with the kids’ bedtime alone after a long day, so I’ll get up early tomorrow and walk, to get back on track. At least my eating has still been good!
Day 17, Tuesday, 6/3/08: Walked/jogged 33 mins.
Day 18, Wednesday, 6/4/08: none. Had a sore throat yesterday and last night, so am taking a day off :( I’m feeling better today, so hope to be back to 100% tomorrow!
Day 19, Thursday, 6/5/08: none. Still not feeling 100%, but not “bad” either. However, didn’t exercise today / taking it easy, so I DON’T get major sick. I’m bummed about it, but also wonder if it’s my psychological ploy/excuse? Subconscious self trying to resist change? My conscious self knows I was doing SO good, and hates to take this break… but I don’t want to get REALLY sick, either. I’ll get back on track…. maybe a brief/easy walk in the am?
Day 20, Friday, 6/6/08: Walked 16 mins. Throat still not 100%, so took it easy.
Day 21, Saturday, 6/7/08: Did Friday’s exercise make me sicker? I’ll never know, but I ended up feeling worse! Sore throat turned into a cough and congestion, and achy body. No exercise today.
Day 22, Sunday, 6/8/08: None. Still getting over being sick.
Day 23, Monday, 6/9/08: Walked 30 mins. Feeling better today! Hooray!
Day 24, Tuesday, 6/10/08: 35 mins. elliptical.
Day 25, Wednesday, 6/11/08: Walked 33 mins
Day 26, Thursday, 6/12/08: 25 mins elliptical
Day 27, Friday, 6/13/08: None. Slept in. Out with Leslie after work.
Day 28, Saturday, 6/14/08: None. Just being lazy (no excuse).
I pretty well sucked this two week period. Partly because I was sick, partly because I was lazy (ie - I COULD have done better, as I “took off” about 4 days when I was well enough to exercise). I only met 41% of my goal, or 172 of 420 mins. But I’ll do better the next two weeks!
