1st Weigh-In

Today was my first official for the week. I usually like to weigh myself daily, but I’ve been trying to hold back so I can do it once a week.
Last week I was at 71 kgs. (156.2 lbs)

This week i am 69 kgs (151.8)

I’m totally happy with the results. And I’m happy to say, I have been keeping up with Jillian’s 30 day shred and I’m almost at level 2.

Day 4

So i haven’t been able to post up daily, but tonight I just finished my 4th day of 30 day shred. It’s getting easier as I continue with it. I’ve been trying to eat healthy too. Lots of water and if I eat out, I try to make sure to choose foods that are not fried or super fatty.
Last night though, was a cheat day. Not food wise, but alcohol wise. I went out with some girl friends and we get trashed. I was hungover all day today and it was not good. I couldn’t even keep water down, if I drank it, i would throw it up. So I didn’t really eat today but diner I met up with my cousin and I ate some udon. I think by dinner, the alcohol was out of my system so I was feeling a lot better.

30 day shred-day 1

So today, I decided to give Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred a try. Day 1 was tough, but it was good. It got me pumped and I’m hoping I can stay on track for the next 30 days. Jillian is such a fierce trainer, even in the workout video, she’s totally grilling you and makes it so its hard to just give up.
Here’s what i ate today.

B/L: Kimchi fried rice I made (from the previous night). I just stir fried white rice, cut up kimchi, some chopped of unmarinated pork, and veggies.
D: I had a chicken burger at mcdonalds, w/ small fries and a coke zero. For the chicken burger, I made sure it was just chicken patty and no mayo or special sauces, or any cheese.

Exercise:
Jillians 30 day shred (day 1)
I walked around and shopped for a good (I know its not really intense exercise but I did move around the whole 2 hours)

Back again

Hello everybody. My name is Julie. I used to have a blog here but due to laziness on my part to update, it has been deleted. I’m currently living abroad in Korea and I will be here for another two more months. The past four months, I have managed to gain a good 3-4 kgs (so ~8 lbs?). My current weight of 72 kgs is about 158, and quite frankly I do not want to see that number get any higher. The next two months, I hope I can frequently blog about my weight loss journey in Korea and hopefully make a lifestyle change in my diet in exercise.

Good luck to everybody on this weight loss journey, it’s hard but I know if we can just be motivated and believe in ourselves we can do it.
