So I went to the store before lunch to pick up a few things. I asked one of the asssistants for help with finding something and she told me and then said “I really like your haircut!” Made my (thusfar lousy) day!
I think I get more than my fair share of compliments. I really think you get more compliments if you look confident, no matter what you look like. No one’s going to compliment a person shrinking into themselves.
Lunch was a Lean Cuisine, I went out and bought 4 of them, to keep me going till the weekend. I think I want to stick to food I can accurately count for now.
Funny how I have gotten compliments on my hair before and I just get it cut at the random-person-cutting-your-hair salon at the mall.
I color it myself too.

I’ve been meaning to tell you that ever since I read this post, I have chewed on your idea of looking confident. This makes so much sense and am working in that direction. I’ve been reading “Breaking the Chain of Low Self-Esteem,” to assist me in that endeavor. Thank you for your very wise comments.
