Haven’t posted for a few days! I had guests for the last 4 days, two who stayed overnight and two who came for lunch and dinner. And boy have I been eating! I thought I’d gained for sure but I stepped on the scale this morning to assess the damage and it hit me back with 161!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]()
Studying on the math thing is going well, I’m a lot more confident about some kinds of questions. I’m sure with more practice it will get easier.
My skin has become horribly itchy, dry and crack-y!! WTF! I think I am either over-moisturizing it, or more likely I need more vitamins. I’m going to commit to having a multi-vitamin daily, without fail! Also a vitmin E capsule every few days won’t hurt. And I think a bottle of olive oil will be nice to smooth on instead of these moisturizers.

I find olive oil on skin gets sticky, but almond oil is really nice. And baby oil will do a good job too, if you put it on just out of a bath or shower. I do think the vitamins help - do you take an omega supplement? I take a vegetarian one (no fish oil smell). This time of year is tough w our skin - cold and dry is not what skin likes best…
Congrats on the weight loss!
161 is great! well done
About the oil, I have this bottle of monoi miracle oil from the body shop, and absolutely love it. I prefer it to moisturiser. Although, having said that, I bought a weleda almond oil moisturiser recently that is very very good too (but it doesn’t smell like almonds, unfortunately, because it’s hypo-allergenic so no perfume.)
Damn homegirl - all that exercising is burning it off while you’re eating!
How awesome is that?!
Drinking more water will help keep your skin hydrated, too. I also read somewhere that omega 3s are also great for your skin. So, eat more fish!
