Yowch

Well….you remember that long workout session I had yesterday - about 2 and a half hours? Well, I paid for that this morningĀ  - waking up at 4 am with so much tension in all my muscles. It was like DOMS++! I think it was mainly the Yamuna that was to blame, I notice whenever I do the routine, my feet and hands cramp up like crazy a while later - not a good effect at all.

I lay in bed, trying to release each muscle(thank God for guided relaxation techniques) and trying to go to bed - it hurt all over. Finally managed to drop off.

I think the mattress may have been to blame as well- I am sorely in need of a new one…and actually got one and the slats to go underneath it from Ikea…now I need to pick up the bed frame which will be Malm. It’s about an hour’s drive to there, so hopefully they have them in stock - last time I went and they didn’t. Wish me luck!

Today’s workout was Kukuwa Kananga - a nice like 40 minute dance routine that kept my heart rate up there and loosened up my muscles. This was followed by Classical Stretch - I record these off the TV - they have it in the morning - I’m going to attempt to record one tomorrow….6 am ugh! :D
