Howdy everybody!

Just a quick note to check in. Back to work- getting new claims starting tomorrow. Oh, maybe I hadnt mentioned but I am a claims adjuster- auto. Yup, no more training- throwing me to the wolves. lol.I have 2 weeks left of yoga training, then certification. I have been learning lots of core strengthening exercises at P/T, so I may offer a class for that as well.  I am working on a yoga class now, just have to find out  when I can start teaching. I am soooooo excited. My plus size population is going to love me.   On a serious note, my children’s school had a lock down this afternoon, because there was an armed robbery at a gas station. It was at the other end of town, but still…..  I am in a very rural town- who’da thunk?? I went to our local market after they let me pick up my 14 yr old, and we saw a surveillance helocopter- still not certain if they caught the guy.  Yikes! I just looked it up online. The paper says the suspect was initially involved in a bank robbery then the gas station and they found the vehicle at the elementary school. The suspect is still at large. Our failing economy is only going to continue to bring out the worst in some people. It’s very sad. Gas today, $4.18. It seems to be going up in price daily. What’s going on here? Instead of a Economic Stimulus check, how bout making our every day needs more affordable. Somebody up high is making some serious cash.  OK, dont get me started.Yoga- yes… breathe……….

Wow. That IS scary. You’re right about the crime rates climbing as the cost of living increases. It’s pretty sad. Around here, purses are getting stolen out of vehicles in the middle of the night, and motorcycles and 4-wheelers are getting stolen. Those are the things I’ve heard most about, because BOTH of those things happened to my sister in the past few months (her purse was stolen out of her car, along with many other people that live in her neighborhood - and their near new 4 Wheeler was stolen as well (which also happened several other times in her neighborhood alone.) Of course, you don’t hear about that kind of stuff, until it happens to you or someone you know, when you start asking around and realize that it has become a common occurance around town.
Anyway! Sorry. I don’t know how I got off on that. Glad to hear that you’re almost done with your yoga training! And congrats on being “unleashed” to the policy-holders out there!!
Tomorrow is weigh in day. I’ll see ya then! :)

Sandy, that guy was caught last night around 8pm I believe was the time, he went onto an old guys property, old fella called 911 and they picked him up, saw it on the news last night. I think the rise in things like this on the news is just the media playing into peoples fears, its been like this all along, you have probably also seen all of the bank robbery attempts in the state lately as well, the media chooses what we see and what we are expected to fear each week :) its all about ratings, and the government controls the media….ok ok let me take my tin foil hat off for a moment lol.

we DO have some of the highest gas rates in the country unfortunately :( national average is $3.78 last I heard and I can look at any station and see $4.05 for regular, its plain old nuts and I have not driven my car for months (it being a fun car) and we use wifys for groceries, the park and thats about it, sad sad.

also, its very cool that you seem to be getting that yoga thing rolling, I wish you luck with that endeavor, just watch your back :(

Wow, Sandy, that’s scary about the lockdown having to happen. I know that robberies do go on all the time and we pay more attention in times like these, but all the same, I think I’ll pay more attention to safety. I get pretty lax about locking my car and keeping hold of my purse at the store. Yoga certification and then students…yaaay you. All good things, Ruby

Awesome Sandy! You are living my dream…yoga is so important to me as well…I just got home from visiting family and while I did practice some while I was away I missed my classes!
It really is something else about the state of the world today…makes you want to hide… :) Anyway, just letting you know I am back in town and listening to ya as always!!! :)

wow I am so glad your kids are safe. That is a parental freak out moment for sure! yes the price of gas does stink! I still can’t believe it is getting so bad. I do agree with Tony n the media coverage though they are in it for political gain right now I try to stay away from the news (except for the odd stories they are funny) during the election time. Wait until the dems have actually secured a candidate and then all the news stories will be off the wall! they’re just warming up now!
