Day 64- exercise
I got on my recumbent bike before dinner- and pedaled another 30 minutes. I covered 6 miles tonight( I was at 5 miles yesterday) , and burned 151.8 calories. I have the bike in the living room, where everyone congregates, and it felt good to be back on it. It felt even better knowing I added an additional mile in the same 30 minutes. I actually sprinted for the last minute. I plan to continue w/ the 30 minutes at least for a week, and see how it goes. 30 minutes works for me. I dont have to rearrange my day, or skip something to make it happen. I’m not going to complicate or add to my routine right now. Is it fair to call it a routine, after only 2 days? Well, one day at a time. I guess we make choices once we are mentally ready to accept the challenges. That’s my story, and I’m sticking with it! See you tomorrow.
Wow! Way to go, Sandy!! Reading this post really makes me feel like a slacker!!

That’s awesome that you’ve done the 30 minutes two days in a row now. I think it is fair to call it a routine!!
An earthquake, eh? That’s crazy! I’ve never felt the earth shake, but I think it would freak me out big time if I ever did! You know how bad I freaked out just from seeing my tree moving the ground when the wind was blowing so hard that day….I can’t imagine an earthquake!
heh, heh… I’ve ’signed’ on to a Year’s Training , with chart and everything, before I did even ride number one. I know, DH tries not to roll his eyes at still another one of my tunnel visions. This time I really really really REALLY want to make this work with all of my heart. My point? So do you ! I know this Sandy, and I know that you know what it takes and it’s great that you’re thinking ‘routine’ becuase routine equals LifeStyle, and that’s just the detail work that needs to change. No magic pills, just determination and stickin’ to a modest little plan.
About Earthquakes…*Robyn* … from where I am and the earthquakes, you really don’t feel things sometimes until they’re over. I mean, it’s not a jarring sensation, more of an undulating sort of thing. At least here in northern california.
again, yay on riding the bike, I have been limited to walks (which I think are doing just as much) but man I do miss the bike, I am having no luck finding a pedal that will work, keep up the good work Sandy!
As Ever
