Day 7- one whole week
I am feeling great. I find I now have to schedule food, or I dont eat. I’m just not hungry, for the most part. My choices are now healthy, and calorie based. I am still consuming more carbs than protein, and am trying to flip that around. I have been reading a lot about calorie shifting/calorie cycling. It’s very interesting, although it has taken me hours on the computer to track down some credible info. The premise is, you alternate your calorie intake throughout the week, so you keep you metabolism guessing. In the end, when averaged, you are still eating the same amount of food. From what I am reading, it seems the body will adjust quite quickly to a “regular” diet. So I figure if I ate 1400 calories a day, soon the metabolism would recognize this, and slow down to maintain. Am I making any sense? I think I have found my path. It is all very clear to me, and I feel like it is almost effortless. Isnt that the way it should be? The only obstacle is the exercise, and I am confident, once I see some weight falling off, I will want to add to the process. I really want to see what counting calories alone has done first. It’s 11:37am. I had Yoplait harvest peach yogurt for breakfast, and need to eat again. I am trying to eat every couple of hours, because if I get “crazy” hungry, I will eat anything/everything in sight. I seem to be much more conscious, so maybe now I wouldnt, but I dont want to take that chance. Have a GREAT day!
