Madonna, oh how you are RIGHT! I swear time goes incredibly slow when I am on the treadmill! But, like that song also says… those who run seem to have all the fun! So here’s to hoping! I only ran a mile because a friend of mine called earlier and she wants a workout buddy! YAY! So hopefully we’ll do that tonight. We plan on walking up and down (or rather down and up, as we live on the top) of the hill? mountain? (not sure what it is) which is a little over a three mile trek. I am so stoked! I do this walk with my little one so I can have the jogging stroller as added resistance, and of course he loves it, too. So, I just wanted to say that you all inspire me so much. I really don’t think I’d move half as much as I do if I didn’t read how much you were trying and feeling so proud of all the effort you are putting in. GOOD JOB!

In other news, I found a 7 mile bike trail moderately close to the house (20 minutes or so away) that I plan on trying out at some point this weekend with my oldest son. I haven’t ridden a bike in YEARS, but I just *had* to have this fabulous pink cruiser so my men got it for me for Mother’s Day. It even has a bell on it that says I <3 my mom! Anyway, now I am obligated to relearn how to ride. Fun, huh?

AND, they are giving away ball gowns in one month and one day , so I have FREE motivation! Seriously, how cool will it be to not have to pay for a gown this year?! I am so gonna hit this hard core and see if I can be down 10 pounds over the next month. I dunno if that is feasible for me, but you know what they say… aim for the moon and fall short and you will still be among the stars.
