I have avoided most exercise for about a year. I did do some walking every now and then for a few months, but the habit was never formed and therefore it was quickly stopped.

I’d like to be able to do more active things with my family and friends, and I’ve always felt better about myself when I’m exercising, so I’m giving it a big push for this summer.

I’m going back to my minutes goal is in increments of 500 minutes :

I’m going to keep track of how many days it takes me to hit the 500 minutes of exercise mark.

  • 1st set : June 27th - July 10th  Photobucket

I’m also working on a virtual walk to Bilbao (in Spanish Basque Country). There is a small amount of cheating (or creativity, if you will) - I count every 15 minutes of walking as one mile (which is not always the case). This I’m just picking up the ticker from where I left off -all other tickers have been reset to zero, but I enjoyed the posts on this theme so we need to keep moving!
