Today’s Totals - Aug 17th, 2008
Nothing much going on here today. The weather was cool and quite dull when I was doing my walking (again with a little jogging), which was nice. I still find that I can’t get myself into a jog for the second set. Oh well, that will come eventually. Now I’m just doing some last minute cleaning and tidying. With company last weekend and this weekend, I may never find anything on my desk again. I think I need to go over the ‘tidied’ piles before school starts in September.
From the HR monitor:
| Exercise | Time | Cals | Max HR | Avg HR | Max % | Avg % |
| Walk/Jog Outside | 0:30 | 220 | 172 | 136 | 97 | 76 |
| Walk Outside | 0:30 | 191 | 160 | 130 | 90 | 73 |
| Totals | 1:00 |
411 |
So the company has come and gone. I’m kind of tired so I’m just adding the food. I still need to have my protein shake and fruit. I’ll likely take the protein shake, but I haven’t decided about the fruit. I will probably have it as well. I did fairly well with the food today. From what I planned I probably took less pre-dinner snacks than I logged (ie. I logged an oz of cheese spread and a 2-pc serving of flatbread but know I didn’t take that much). However, I decided to eat the extra pieces of pork when I was cleaning up (although I dumped the excess pasta). I figure overall the calorie count is pretty close, although likely higher than actual.
Food for the day:
Total: 2415 (27% fat, 36% carbs, 32% protein)
Breakfast: two scrambled eggs, honey oatmeal bread, peach (355)
AM Snack: protein shake with frozen blueberries (199)
Lunch: whole wheat tortillas, cheese, peach (430)
PM Snack: protein shake, cheese ball, flatbread, multi-grain tostidos, salsa, pisco sour (455)
Dinner: balsamic pork tenderloin, whole wheat penne, asparagus, butter, salad w/dressing, berry yogurt sorbet (766)
Late Snack: protein shake, peaches (211)

LOL I wish the weather was cool and “quite dull” here in Florida!
I got a bit behind in blog-reading so I had to read back several entries… you are doing so great! Congrats on staying so many days on-plan!
I’ve become brutally bad about following other blogs. It’s not that I’m not interested (because I am) it’s just I’m trying to limit how much time I’m sitting down at the computer.
I get exactly what you mean… it’s easy to get caught up in other peoples’ life stories and before you know it, hours have passed! Speaking of which… lol.. my exercise bike is calling my name! It’s saying..
“Eileen get off the computer!!!” =D
Yeah, it’s certainly more fun than the treadmill (or the exercise bike in your case). I know someone recently who bought a desk/stand that allows you to use your laptop while walking on the treadmill. That kind of scares me!
