Today’s Totals - Aug 14th, 2008
So today was supposed to be a cardio day but I had jam to make and had planned some baking as well. Last night I set the day up as a rest day. This morning I decided I was just being a wuss so I did the walking outside. The first set of 30 mins I added some jogging every 5 mins. Not great jogging, but a minute just the same. So I ended up doing 5 mins of jogging in the 30. I did try it the second set but couldn’t get up the enthusiasm for it so I just walked.
Then I did my indoor chores (fruit & nut squares, peach conserve), watered a few plants and had a swim. Oh yes, and I reorganized the freezer a little as I had to find space for the chili. So it was a busy day.

Oh, and I wore the HR monitor for the 6 hours following my last morning workout. That included baking, lunch, jam making, and the watering followed by the swim. 1321 calories burned, Max HR 129, Avg HR 95.
don’t know how I got so tired all of a sudden. I just zipped through about some blogs (with no energy to comment). I think the brain is even shutting down. 
So I think I should take advantage of feeling sleepy and actually go to bed. Wow, I could get 10 hours sleep (okay, I know it will be closer to 8 but who knows).

AM Snack: fruit & nut squares (158)
Lunch: whole wheat tortillas, smoked turkey, mustard, cheese, peach (472)
PM Snack: bean dip, carrots, flatbread, protein shake, maraschino cherries, peach conserve (332) <– those last two were during the jam making
Dinner: chili with cheese, multi-grain tostidos, salad w/dressing (707)
Late Snack: protein shake, peaches, apricots (322)
