Today’s Totals - Aug 10th, 2008

Yikes, just looked at the time. I should have been a little further ahead with the evening than I am. Spent too much time sitting watching the end of the Olympics opening ceremonies (recorded it the other day). Usually when the television is on during the evening I bop between the couch and the desk, spending equal time on both. Tonight I spent too much time on the couch.

I also can’t really figure out where the day went to. I did manage to sneak in two sessions of cardio. Oh well, too late to worry about it, so I’ll just add in my info for the day and off to bed I go.

Weekly Weigh-in - Aug 10th, 2008

So, again the Sunday to Sunday loss this week is 2.2lbs. This week I’ve had the last four days fall below the lowest weight I had last time so I suppose I’m now officially the lightest I’ve been in at least 15 years. It still seems a bit of a flaky trend with lots of jumps up and down. I know that some of it is water related though so I won’t worry about it too much. I think there’s a small voice that sometimes whispers that the upward jumps are going to keep going up, and that the jumps down aren’t real. The 9-week loss is 20lbs even (2.22/week) which is usually the ‘number’ I look at to see how things are going overall. The other little compulsive number I look at is how many days I’ve been ‘on plan’ primarily with food. I still consider the maintenance week ‘on plan’ since I accomplished what I wanted to. So, since I started keeping track this is day 213 on plan with food.

Now I’m trying to remind myself that it’s a cardio day. I set my calories for a rest day last night but I really should do some cardio. I originally had decided I would do it in the pool as my heel is still bothering me. However, it’s way too cold to do an hour in the pool (again, big tough Canadian, eh) so I should try the treadmill. The worst thing that can happen is my heel starts to bother me and I stop. I could have an extra egg… and toast with my lunch. Of course I’m not even hungry for my morning snack at the moment so this isn’t much of a motivator.

Today’s Totals - Aug 9th, 2008

Yesterday was a pretty good day, well, except for the rain. It was clear out until just after lunch and then it rained, poured, rained, poured, etc. I’m glad I hadn’t cleaned off the table to eat outside!

I kept the food in control for dinner, which I expected. I actually ended up eating less than I’d planned on the pre-dinner snack period mainly because I kept away from it earlier and then I was too busy making dinner. It wasn’t a no-work dinner that I usually do when we have company. I’m pretty much planning the same meal for next weekend’s company (family) so I’ll have to see what I can do about prepping some of the stuff before they get here.

It was late after they left so I just did my meal plan for today and then went to bed. So I’m just posting yesterday’s eats.
