Today’s Totals - August 3rd, 2008

It was an excellent day. The weather was hot and sunny pretty much the whole day through. The occasional cloud cover was even nice because it gave you a little relief from the heat. Started back into the garden chores, and although I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked, still got a fair amount accomplished. Even managed to sneak in a drink and a snack on the patio after the afternoon swim. Okay, I suppose I could have continued trimming the pots, however, it was much more relaxing.

Oh, and I have a zucchini (finally) on the plant. It’s really a size I should probably have picked it but I’m going to risk it and leave it a few more days. I know, I may regret it later.  :)

So tomorrow will be another rest day with more yard work. It would be great if the weather holds for just another day (fingers crossed) although I see we might get a little rain in the afternoon. That should just encourage me to move a little faster in the morning. Well, we’ll see how that goes.

Weekly Weigh-in - Aug 3rd, 2008

So, the Sunday to Sunday loss this week is 2.2lbs. I don’t know if it’s the rapid weight loss from a couple of weeks ago but the trend chart seems bumpier than normal. Although it’s probably because I’m comparing it to that week where it just seemed to drop every day. The 9-week loss is 18.8lbs even (2.09/week) which is usually the ‘number’ I look at to see how things are going overall. The other little compulsive number I look at is how many days I’ve been ‘on plan’ primarily with food. I still consider the maintenance week ‘on plan’ since I accomplished what I wanted to. So, since I started keeping track this is day 206 on plan with food.
