Today’s Totals - July 19th, 2008
Kind of late getting this in but people just left a short while ago. I did really well with the food. The only slightly compulsive thing I did was weigh the tostidos (before the party) so I could get a feel for what a couple of chips weighed. Everything else we served I already had a feel for what the serving sizes were so it was quite easy to stay within what I’d alloted.
It does sound bad but this is exactly the type of occasion in the past I’d have chased down three or four drinks with lots of nibbles. Out of habit really, not hunger. The only poor choice I made was switching to diet soda after my first drink. The last time I had a couple of diet sodas I was really quite puffy the next day. So I’ve tried to deal with that by drinking way too much water before I go to bed. I suspect I’ll be up in a couple of hours to pee!

Total: 2155 (30% fat, 34% carbs, 31% protein)
Breakfast: two eggs poached in salsa, cracked wheat oatmeal bread (247)
AM Snack: protein shake (135)
Lunch: whole wheat tortillas, mustard, smoked turkey, cheese, nectarine (391)
PM Snack: protein shake (135)
Dinner: whole wheat pizza, taco meat with salsa, cheese, green beans, butter (635)
Party Food/Snack: pisco sour, bean dip, raw veggies, cheese spread, flatbread, tostidos, salsa, berry yogurt sorbet, protein shake (612)
