Today’s Totals - July 12th, 2008

(For those not following along, or visiting for the first time, please note that this is an attempt at a maintenance week.  The theory is to let the body reset hormonal levels before putting it back into a deficit.  The calorie levels are specifically not weight loss ones.)

So I got caught up this morning in a task I hadn’t planned to start (thanks mom). My ‘can you help a few minutes’ turned into picking mulberries, hacking the tree to bits from the inside, and making jam. That said, it was a lousy day out in the afternoon (bits of rain again), so I actually decided to make the jam. I could have chosen just to freeze the fruit pulp.

So today was officially the last day of my rest week. I wasn’t sure if I was going to extend it until tomorrow, but I think not. Technically tomorrow would normally be a rest day, so I’ll do that, but drop the calories back to 2150. That will get me prepared for starting the lifting again on Monday. I’ll do my usual Sunday weigh-in tomorrow and start back at it. It was a fun week. I’ll probably go into a little more detail tomorrow once I can put a final weight to it.  :)

Dinner: braised lamb shoulder, broccoli, butter, salad w/dressing (532)
