Today’s Totals - June 15th, 2008

It was a reasonably quiet day today. We had friends over for lunch, so it kind of sucked up most of the day. In the end I avoided the drink I was planning to have, although I’m not sure a diet soda was a good substitute. I even had a cookie, kind of a shortbread thing with currants and lemon. Nice, but at 80 cals each I’ll let my mother finish them up. Made the last flavour of the fruit/yogurt sorbet today - a mixed berry one with cassis, yogurt, and a mixed berry jam for a flavour boost. It turned out like a premium ice cream at 130 cals for a serving, albeit a small serving.

We’re having slightly stormy weather again tonight. A little thunder and lightning, but very little rain. Hopefully not as bad as Friday night. I took a few minutes and cut a couple of branches off the pussy willow, as the poor thing was leaning again. Now it’s off to bed so I can get up bright and early tomorrow.

Weekly Weigh-in - June 15th, 2008

Today’s weigh-in brings me to 298.2 which is 2.6 pounds less than last week. I know I should be happy about that number, but I suppose I won’t truly be happy until I make sure that the trend is continuing down.  That, and that a year from now it’s lower, rather than higher or the same.  I’ve also decided to leave the bodyfat numbers out for a while.  They still don’t make a lot of sense.  The number is lower than it was a couple of weeks ago, but that’s only by chance.  The percentages seem to go up and down overnight, which doesn’t make sense.  Once I understand the trends a bit more I might go back to including them.  Anyway, since I started keeping track this is day 157 on plan.
