Sunday, May 11

breakfast: figs, prunes, 2 eggs

lunch: Pizza Hut Buffet (just guessing, maybe 2000 calories) ok, I’ll try…3 pieces deep pan, 3 pieces thin (Gah…did I REALLY?????) salad with bleu cheese…um, no, better make that bleu cheese with salad. Yeah. Wow. I bet I’m not far off the mark with guessing 2000 calories! Yikes! But I feel quite energetic now. And I plan to have only a berry smoothie for supper tonight….

And I hope to have time for a run….it was such fun yesterday! running through the puddles after the rain!!! Who says that’s just for kids…they definitely know something we’ve forgotten! :-)

weight last Friday - 197

Yesterday was not my best day, diet-wise.

We had our second fundraiser - pancake breakfast- and before it was over, the chocolate chip pancakes got the best of me. (I have been off of white flour and sugar) My daughter requested chocolate chip pancakes and then didn’t eat most of what was on her plate…they were sooooo tempting with all that melting chocolate (she’d added extra as a topping!) So I caved. And then I thought I was going to be sick for awhile after!! Yuck!

I noticed when I went for a run in the afternoon, I didn’t have near the energy I’m used to either.

The fundraiser was a lot of fun though, got to work at my favorite restaurant, schmooze a bit with the owner…the kids were fun to work with…they really liked my MP3 player with it’s built in speaker (she shall have music wherever she goes…even if it embarrasses her 14 yr. old son)

What I ate:

breakfast: natural peanut butter on whole wheat bread, 2 figs, bottled water.

lunch: At at Casa, grilled chicken salad / bleu cheese dressing / water

oops, can’t forget: those ch.ch. pancakes with syrup, butter, and extra chocolate

dinner: Barilla plus spaghetti, sausage, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese

no-no’s : scarfed a few sausage patties while putting away leftovers from the breakfast.

damn! Where is my self-control???

I ran for probably 20 minutes (didn’t time it too faithfully)

And of course, I will do better today! Damn that sausage to hell!
