Sunday Evening Notes…
Well, my weekend was kind of hectic, as usual, but I made it through. Nathan got most of his book report done (due on the 7th) and Joyce and I caught up her Book - It reading. I took Nate to the CC and walked for mmmm, about 40 minutes I guess. ….Man, I am so ready for Monday morning - I know this sounds totally weird, most people look forward to the weekends; I look forward to Monday! With the kids, it is just fight and tease and bicker and moan all weekend (don’t misunderstand, most of the time they’re having fun, it just gets on my nerves by the end of the weekend!) I long for some peace and quiet and just the ability to hear myself THINK!!! Well, enough of that…..
food journal for Saturday -
1 egg and turkey sausage, cooked with olive oil
1/2 turkey sandwich with tomato and dijon mustard on whole wheat
went out to dinner: small pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, water, coffee.
snacks: (during the day) two oranges
food journal for Sunday:
shredded wheat and bran biscuits (dry) fresh orange juice
lunch (church dinner - “help me Lord!” fried chicken (1 leg, 1 breast) tiny piece of meatloaf - just to try it, spinach rice casserole (my contribution) mashed potatoes and gravy, 1 sausage ball (small but deadly I’m sure) literally two bites of Monkey Bread (not really worth it) small serving sugar free Blackberry Cobbler (way too tart!) and two big servings of green beans.
Supper: fruit and veggie smoothie, containing o.j., orange, celery, romaine, carrots. (a lot better for me than it tasted, believe you me!)
……and some of that awesome spinach rice casserole, + a few bites of my daughters spaghetti.
~cheers!
