The Diet So Far…

ramsay.jpg  So far, I think I’ve done pretty well….I may have overdone just a bit yesterday. We lost Vanilla (our dog) the other day and Joyce asked where she was yesterday evening when we were playing outside. (I had decided to wait until she asked to tell her because I didn’t know how she would take it) and she took it so hard….she cried off and on until bedtime. I comforted her the best I could but when you lose a pet there’s not really anything anyone can say that helps…. I thought making brownies might help her a little (completely normal rationale of a lifetime foody) so, we did that later in the evening. Thus, the reason for part of my derailment. However, I only had one brownie, of which I am proud.

Mum and Dad decided to drop in for dinner. I made Spaghetti, garlic bread, and a nice salad. So…before I go any further, here is what I actually ate yesterday:

Breakfast: 1 Egg + 1 extra white, some oatmeal with a little sugar.

Lunch: 1 Jonagolad Apple, some Kashi Cinnamon Harvest Cereal (dry) (again, not very good planning on my lunch)

Snack: Turkey and Tomato Sandwich on Whole Wheat (dry) 1/2 sandwich

Supper: Spaghetti, Sauce with meat and Sharp Cheddar, 1 slice garlic bread, salad with my homemade dressing of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar, 1 Brownie

Bedtime Snack: 1 slice leftover garlic bread, 1 Orange, 1/2 cup leftover Scalloped Potatoes, few bites of plain leftover Spaghetti (guess I was craving carbs!)

Exercise today: walked for just a bit at the community center. My MP3 player quit working so I wasn’t as motivated without my music.
