I just got back from a one hour speed walk/jog, and I feel great! I couldn’t sleep, so I decided what the hell. I’ve had some protein and a hot shower, and I feel ready to tackle the rest of my day.

Food for today: before walk - one cottage cheese fruit cup. After walk - two hard boiled eggs and a peach. Lunch - Brown rice with one italian Tofurkey sausage, marinara sauce and brussel sprouts. Dinner - Salad with iceberg lettuce, beans, tomatoes, cucumber, and maybe a few other veggies, with a bit of ranch dressing. I’m going to make a trip to the farmer’s market shortly, and then clean up my kitchen/house.

I’ve been eating better and treating myself right for almost a week now, I think. I frequently get frustrated with how I’m popping out of my clothes, but I know that this didn’t just appear overnight. It’s going to take time to go away.
