I’m so giddy to be off work, it’s insane. I just really love waking up knowing that I don’t have to sit in an office bored all day.
I slept in a little bit today. Got up at ten, had breakfast, and got ready for the gym. Started with 35 min of cardio on the treadmill. Wasn’t happy with only 148 cal burned but I didn’t really run or anything. I did really fast walking. I must admit, I was a bit pooped. The mind was definitely pushing harder than the body was willing to put in. Nevertheless, I finished the cardio and worked on lower body weights.
Stopped at the grocery store for some fresh veggies and a few things for the next couple of meals. Spent the afternoon at the pool with the family soaking up some rays. I love summertime. Came home and started preparing dinner. Dinner was broiled salmon w/ rosemary, baked sweet potato, and some steamed green beans. I got my full 8 c of water in today. While dinner was preparing, I managed to do the Jillian 30-day shred video. I’m starting back on day 1 as I haven’t done it in a really long time. I want to feel like level 1 is easy before I move on to level 2. DH and DD did the DVD with me. LOL.
Well, I better get to cleaning up the dinner dishes, come back here and read some entries.
