Father’s Day

So father’s day celebrations went well today. DH really enjoyed his new 42″ LCD HDTV. He better. It sure cost enough. That’s okay. He deserves it. He works hard.

Today’s food was much of nothing. Nothing healthy, that is. I started the day off with 3 pancakes drenched in syrup. I had some cherries in the afternoon. Dinner was pizza. I had three slices plus a can of pop. I know, I know. I need to make better choices and I will. Starting tomorrow. Promise.

I got a call from my friend today. Turns out she joined my gym and was calling to tell me she was excited about it. She plans to train in the gym when she can’t make it to her tae kwon do training. Can’t wait. I have a weekend partner! :)

Tomorrow I will be going to the gym. The plan is to start with some cardio, followed by upper body weights. Upper body will be chest and biceps. I will be weighing myself so I can have a starting point. I need to lose up to 5 lbs and that’s it. Not impossible for me as I’ve done it before. Just can’t figure out why those 5 lbs keep creeping back. Well, yeah, I know why. Cuz when I reach my goal I figure I’m okay and start eating like an idiot again. That really must stop.

I’ve pulled an inspiration page from my fitness magazine. A pic of a girl I would like to model my figure after. Only difference is I won’t be taking weight loss enhancement pills…Hydroxycut Max to be exact. I know I can do it on my own and I will. DH said he’d help with the ab portion (he’s a soccer player…currently on a 1 yr hiatus). He also said he’d do my Jillian Shred DVD with me. Ha! I’d like to see that.

Well, that’s it for me today! I’m going to read a few more entries and see what’s up with everyone else!
